VANESSA HUDGENS felt an instant chemistry with HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL co-star and boyfriend ZAC EFRON - because he was so attractive.

Zac Efron celebrated his 21st birthday with an intimate dinner party Saturday at L.A.s Pace Restaurant. The actors parents and brother, girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, and High School Musical co-stars Ashley Tisdale and Monique Coleman gathered at the restaurant for a 2-hour dinner.
Also on the guest list was Jared Murillo, Michelle Trachtenberg, Amanda Bynes, and Britney Snow. They arrived carrying wrapped gifts along with bottles of liquor.

Teen sensation VANESSA HUDGENS has bought her first home - for a cool .75 million.
The 19-year-old High School Musical star is looking to move out of her family home after purchasing a new place in Studio City, California.
The new pad comes with six bedrooms, a pool, spa and landscaped tropical waterfalls.
Hudgens has snapped up a bargain - according to the Los Angeles Times newspaper, the property was originally on the market for almost .3 million.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL star VANESSA HUDGENS is to front a new back-to-school campaign for U.S. clothing firm Sears.
The actress, 19, was shot by acclaimed director Joseph Kahn for the company's new ads, which will appear on TV, online and in print.
The 'Don't Just Go Back. Arrive.' promotion will launch later this month (Jul08) in a bid to encourage school kids to start the new school term in style with Sears' new line of products.
